After spending so long in my comfort zone, providing artwork exclusively to family, friends and by word of mouth within a small circle, I have to say I am both humbled and elated to find that opening myself up to the big wide world has been an experience of overwhelming warmth, love and shared joy. It blows my mind that among the millions of talented creators and artists out there, complete strangers from all over have chosen me, my art and my creations to bring into their home or to gift to their loved ones. I’m moved by the kindness, support and love I’ve received from so many in this short time already, whether it’s through engagement in my online videos (thousands of views on YouTube!?), through repeat customers returning to collect more pieces, or through the glowing reviews I’ve received on Etsy.
What I’m trying so say, is that I’m overwhelmed with love and gratitude to you all.
Thank you to everyone for supporting my dream and making it possible for me to spend my time doing what I love most in this world.
I promise to continue to pour my heart and soul into everything I make, because I believe that art, culture, expression and human connection is the medicine for the growing sickness among mankind that wants to disconnect us from one another. Getting back in touch with what makes us human and re-igniting that love is what will heal the world. Art is a massively powerful catalyst for this, so it warms my heart to see that so many people remember its value and still make time to celebrate authentic, human-made art.
